Supplementary Information: An Exploratory Study on Knowledge-Augmented QA Application for Zymomonas mobilis

This repository contains the publicly released subset of a domain-specific evaluation dataset developed for the study. The dataset is designed to assess how effectively knowledge-augmented QA systems handle specialized terminology, mechanisms, and factual assertions in synthetic biology. Questions are constructed from 22 peer-reviewed publications on the physiology, metabolism, and engineering of Zymomonas mobilis. All items were curated through text filtering, core-information extraction, and expert review to ensure scientific accuracy. The subset includes 87 question–answer pairs, stored in JSON format, consisting of true/false and multiple choice questions.
