In 2017, we collected respiratory samples from forest musk deer (Moschus berezovskii) in southern Anhui Province, China, and performed viral metagenomic analysis. Respiratory specimens were obtained from thirty forest musk deer using sterile polyester swabs and randomly allocated into three groups (n=10 per group).
