Courageous Cruise 035 Hydrology Data, 1978

This dataset contains the processed Hydrology (HYD) data collected on Courageous cruise 035. The voyage took place in the Australian North West Shelf between Port Hedland and Broome during May-June 1978. Two hydrology transects were completed across the shelf, opposite Poissanier Point and 80 Mile Beach. This dataset has been processed and is archived within the CSIRO Marine and Atmospheric Research Data Centre in Hobart. Courageous on-voyage hydrology data are typically obtained from water samples collected in Nansen bottles at various depths. Parameters measured comprise some or all of the following: temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, phosphate, nitrate, silicate, and nitrite. For further details consult the Divisional Data Centre.
