To ascetain whether a serum miR signature can distinguish patients with progressive IgAN from the stable form and to determine the signature specificity for IgAN by comparing serum miR profiles with subjects with membranous nephropathy and healthy subjects. Overall design: Serum from 10 patient with either progressive IgAN, Stable IgAN, membranous nephropathy and healthy subjects which were age and sex-matched and sent to Exiqon/Qiagen for next generation sequencing (NGS) h= healthy subject m= membranous nephropathy np= IgAN non-progressor n= IgAN progressor
