This paper introduces our UAVid dataset, a novel high-resolution drone semantic segmentation dataset that presents new challenges including large-scale variations, moving object recognition, and temporal consistency preservation. Our drone dataset consists of 30 video sequences capturing high-resolution oblique aerial images. For the semantic annotation task, a total of 300 images have been densely annotated with 8 semantic categories.
