Integrated amplicon and shotgun metagenomic datasets of the black soldier fly larva associated microbiome

This dataset contains curated supplementary data for a meta-analysis of the black soldier fly (Hermetia illucens L.) larva associated microbiome. The workbook includes collected and standardized sample metadata, together with bacterial, fungal, and shotgun metagenomic feature tables generated through bioinformatic processing. These data were used for downstream analyses of microbial community structure, core taxa, and core functions. This repository is intended to provide the processed data and metadata necessary to reproduce the supplementary analyses associated with the study on the black soldier fly larva associated microbiome.
