Daily In Situ WL/WTD-Based Binary Wetness Labels for 134 Monitoring Stations across 28 Ramsar Wetlands

This dataset contains 231,539 daily binary wetness labels derived from in situ water-level (WL) and water-table-depth (WTD) records for 134 monitoring stations across 28 Ramsar Wetlands of International Importance. The dataset was compiled to evaluate the temporal accuracy of the wetland delineation framework presented in the associated study, *A weakly supervised, wetness-based dynamic framework for wetland delineation across globally distributed sites*. The released records cover 1970-08-03 to 2024-12-01, with observations from 2018–2023 used in the associated evaluation. The release includes daily wet/dry labels, station locations and metadata, a data dictionary, and documentation. The `station_name` field links the daily records to the GeoPackage station layers. The underlying WL and WTD measurements cannot be redistributed due to licensing restrictions. Access information is provided in the associated paper and its Supplementary Material.
