Number of ESG-themed wealth management products in China 2019-2021, by issuance

In 2021, the total number of ESG-themed wealth management products issued by banks in China reached 103 which included 49 products that were issued that year. The Chinese government introduced guidelines for green investment that are more in line with international standards which made products more appealing to investors.
