The complete chloroplast genome of Prinsepia utilis Royle (Rosaceae)

The chloroplast genome of P. utilis 168,206 bp in length with 38.0% overall GC content, including a large single copy (LSC) region of 73,502 bp, a small single copy (SSC) region of 16,264bp and a pair of inverted repeats (IRs) of 39,220 bp. The cp genome contained 109 genes, including 78 protein coding genes, 30 tRNA genes, and 4 rRNA genes. The phylogenetic analysis indicated Prinsepia was closely related to Potentilla.
