For all parameter sets, the resulting growth rate is 0.06/yr, the diffusion coefficient is D ∼ 180 km2/yr, and the deterministic speed is vdet ∼ 6.57km/yr. Δx is the distance between two neighboring nodes, i.e., the spatial resolution.
