Lowering prices may significantly boost sales volume, thereby increasing total revenue; raising prices will notably reduce sales volume and lead to a drop in total revenue, so price adjustments should be made with caution. (5) Perfectly elastic: |PED| > 10. Even minor price changes will trigger significant changes in quantity demanded, so prices should be adjusted with extreme caution to avoid losing a large number of customers.
