Limnohabitans sp. bacterioplankton isolates genome sequencing and assembly

Freshwater bacterioplankton has been observed the worldwide distribution. The strains INBF003, INBF004, TEGF002, TEGF003, and TEGF005, were isolated from surface lake water in Japan using the size exclusion assay method (SEAM). These strains were closed to the Limnohabitans sp. (betI-A clade) which has been reported by Newton et al. (Microbiol Mol Biol Rev., 75(1), 2011, 14-49.) as the environmental clone of 47 lakes. The Limnohabitans sp. bacterial reads have been frequently obtained from lake and river water in Japan.
