Species-Specific Epigenetic Signature Associate with Heat Stress Tolerance in a Perennial Tree Species Populus

To investigate species-specific heat stress memory, we leveraged a hybrid Poplar and its contrasting parent species. Plants are exposed to various heat stress treatments, including direct heat stress 'H', priming followed by heat stress 'PH', only priming 'P', and a control 'C'. Leaf samples were used for the transcriptomics analysis.
