Stable isotope, ion concentrations, and mineral dust data from northwestern Greenland ice core (SIGMA-D)

The concentration of dust was measured from 1915 to 2003 using a CFA system. The size bins cover the range from 1.5 to 15.0 micro m. The morphology and composition of mineral dust was obtained for every 5-year interval from 1915 to 2013 using a scanning electron microscope (SEM) equipped with an energy dispersive X-ray spectrometer (EDS). In total, 150 particles were randomly chosen from each sample.
