RNA sequencing of 24 Lachancea (Saccharomyces) kluyveri strains using Illumina HiSeq2000. Transcriptomic landscapes of Lachancea (Saccharomyces) kluyveri

Our study represents a survey of transcriptomic variations among isolates within a protoploid yeast species. We sequence the RNA material of 24 Lachancea kluyveri strains (Illumina HiSeq2000, 2 replicates/strain) and compared the mRNA abundance and variation to available data of Saccharomyces cerevisiae. This allow us to describe L. kluyveri specific regulatory networks and to propose implication in biological process for genes.
