Revenue: Sports Betting (LINC)

North Carolina's sport betting system took effect on March 11, 2024. This dataset contains statewide revenue data broken out by the seven categories reported by the NC State Lottery Commission, which oversees sports betting. Data are reported monthly with a lag. Operators pay 18% of their gross wagering revenues to the state each month. The General Assembly determine how the tax proceeds are allocated. This state website summarizes the current allocation.
