CFS414 long-read genome sequencing

Pacbio long-read sequencing of the CFS414 zebra finch immortal cell line was conducted to assess genomic sequence integrity compared to the reference zebra finch genomes. Our analysis showed a largely stable genome, excluding chromosome-level copy number variations. We also sought to determine any and all integration sites of the SV40 Large and Small T antigen lentiviral construct used to immortalize the cell line. We found one integration site on Chromosome 1, suggesting the line derived from a single transduction event.
