Reproductive and nutrition biology of the Petrels (Biologia reproductiva y nutricia de los Petreles)

Breeding and feeding biology of fulmarine and hidrobatyds petrels
at Antarctica Peninsula and Scotia Arc Islands is studied. The
investigation includes studies on petrel breeding
chronology; egg morphology and chick growth; breeding success; diet;
activity; and energetic budget.

Periodic sampling of food items is conducted to analyze caloric
contents and estimate food availability.
