We report the draft genome sequence of an NDM-1 positive Escherichia coli isolated from a surgical patient. The assembled data indicated the presence of 3 multi-drug resistance plasmids, in which 1 of them shared 100% identity with an NDM-1 plasmid isolated from a nearby hospital previously, suggesting possible local transmission.
