A Radiation Belt Content Index Derived from SAMPEX PET Observations During CME and CIR Driven Geomagnetic Storms

This dataset contains the radiation belt content (RBC) index derived from the Solar Anomalous and Magnetospheric Particle Explorer (SAMPEX) Proton Electron Telescope (PET). The RBC is derived from the 1.5-6 MeV electron flux and is used to study the variation of electrons in the outer radiation belt during 64 CME and CIR driven geomagnetic storms.
