The NoPest project generated several confidential deliverables related to key research areas: Peptide Aptamer and Peptidomimetic Libraries Creation of linear and cyclic peptide aptamer libraries for screening. Compilation of interacting peptide aptamers from D1.1 and D1.4 targets. Sets of peptide aptamers derived from D2.2 and D2.3. Libraries of peptidomimetics obtained from D5.2 and D5.3. Collection of modified peptides from constrained peptide design. Identification of a set of non-peptidic hits. Application and Efficacy Testing Field application of non-invasive sensing technologies. In vitro estimation of the antimicrobial efficacy of aptamers from D3.1 and D3.2. Evaluation of peptidomimetics (with or without CPP) and non-peptide small molecules in vitro, including antimicrobial efficacy and phytotoxicity assessments. Study of the effects of peptidomimetics, CPP, and non-peptide small molecules on non-target organisms. Toxicological and eco-toxicological assessment of antimicrobial molecules identified during NoPest. In Planta Studies Evaluation of pathogen inhibition in planta by formulated peptidomimetics and non-peptide small molecules in Italy, the Netherlands, and Germany. Study of the mobility of peptidomimetics and non-peptide molecules within plant tissues. Dissemination and Exploitation List of events dedicated to the dissemination and exploitation of project findings.
