NRS-751 | Register of fees paid to members of the Board

Under the terms of the Act the members of the Board were entitled to a fee for attendance at meetings which dealt with references and appeals. The amount due to each member for each meeting was calculated and the total amount debited to the property owner concerned. These volumes record, for each case dealt with, the date of receipt of fees, from whom they were received, the number of the reference or appeal, the locality of the building, the number and dates of the sittings, the number of members at each sitting, the date of payment, members' signatures and the amounts received, remarks. The volume covering the period 1882-84 does not use the standard printed layout of the later registers and omits such information as the name of the payee and the location of the building.
