RNA-sequencing of metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis hepatocytes

In this study, laser capture microdissection (LCM) was utilized to isolate MASH hepatocytes from fixed-frozen liver sections of three metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH) mouse models. Additionally, LCM was employed to isolate normal hepatocytes from liver sections of healthy control mice. Total RNA was subsequently extracted from these LCM-derived hepatocyte samples. RNA-sequencing was then performed on the extracted RNA using the Illumina NovaSeq 6000 platform.
