资源简介:
Monthly data updates on interactions with Threatened, Endangered and Protected (TEP) species, reported by fishing operations using the NX fishing symbol.\r\n\r\nData fields: Year, Month, Species/Species group, ECIF Management Region, Number of Animals, Fate.\r\n\r\nNotes:\r\n\r\nThis data represents information submitted by the fisher through logbook reporting requirements. This data has not been validated, and some records and species identification may be under further investigation.\r\n\r\nThe increased reporting of TEP interactions is a direct result of the mandatory NX IOM program, in conjunction with improved education, identification, handling, and reporting of protected species with industry.\r\n\r\nFisheries Queensland monitors all interactions reported by fishers through the Threatened, Endangered and Protected (TEP) logbook. Protected species interactions, and in particular mortalities in all East Coast Inshore Finfish fisheries are managed in line with the approved Protected Species Management Strategy (PSMS), July 2021. This strategy outlines the prioritised protected species and are subjected to appropriate response dependent on category identified in the policy. This species list can be found in Table 5 of the PSMS.
