In the years of technology, all businesses possibly change from what we have recognized in a short time. Smartphone, smart TV, or smart watch, they have connected and currently change people’s lifestyle and behaviors. Beside from that, Smart Home, which may heard as home automation, is another market to keep an eye on. Smart Home is the house full of equipment that automatically work and wireless controlled.With current technologies, we are able to develop various functions for Smart Home. But which of them are real people need. What really make their lives better? Existing products have not answered this question well enough. And still ongoing, many firms and startup waste their money and time to launch unsuccessful products.Smart Home market is worth $ 33 billion in 2013 with high growth rate. The successful factors of Smart Home market consists of solved pain features and user experience which have not well identified yet. The other latest studies were only studied on market overview and area of Smart Home functions. There still have key issues to find out which is linkage among brand, product and consumer. The purposes of this study are to understand the attitude of consumer toward Smart Home, to identify key factors that impact on purchasing decision, and to identify potential segments of the market in order to provide information that help firms and startup making a decision on where they should scope on the development and maximizing utilization of their limit resources and time.
