Analysis of glioblastoma cell line U87MG depleted for ZBTB7A (Zinc Finger and BTB Domain Containing 7A, also known as FBI1, POKEMON or LRF). ZBTB7A is transcription factor that represses the transcription of a wide range of genes involved in cell proliferation and differentiation. Results provide insight into the role of ZBTB7A in glioblastoma. For expression of ZBTB7A, a control vector (pLKO) and shZBTB7A were infected in U87MG cell line, and stable expression was induced through puromycin.
