We originally generated monoclonal antibodies which specifically react with serin 5 residue of the C-terminal domain of RNA polymerase II (Pol II-Ser5ph). The genome wide recruitment of Pol II-Ser5ph was evaluated in C2C12 cells myogenesis. MNase-digested input samples of the ChIP-Seq data were re-used for evaluation of PolII-Ser5ph function with a context of nucleosome positioning.
