Release for Impact and Crystallization Modeling of the Sudbury Basin and its Implications for a Hadean Crust

This Zenodo record provides the input files and python scripts used in the study “Impact and Crystallization Modeling of the Sudbury Basin and its Implications for a Hadean Crust” (Litza et al., 2026). The archive supports numerical impact simulations used for iSALE-2D and crystallization modeling conducted with alphaMELTS2, applied to the Sudbury Igneous Complex. Included are paired asteroid and material input files for granite and ice impactors across the four target environments, along with Python scripts used to calculate crater diameter, melt sheet volume, and Aitchison distance from model outputs. These materials are provided to support transparency and reproducibility of the modeling results. Descriptions of model assumptions, parameter choices, and interpretation of results are provided in the paper. File organization and usage notes are documented in the included README.md.
