Different photovoltaic (PV) capacity parameters directly define the system scale boundary reflected by the dataset, serving as the primary technical indicator for understanding data complexity and analytical challenges. The dispersion rate characteristics, causes and optimization solutions for power stations of different scales may vary significantly. Capacity is a core background parameter for explaining the statistical characteristics of dispersion rate data, the diversity of abnormal patterns, and the degree of environmental factor impacts. Analyzing dispersion rate data of systems with different scales helps establish scale effect models. By analyzing the dispersion rates of modules from different batches and models in real-world power stations, we can accurately identify which product series have more stable performance and more consistent degradation. Potential defects in product design or manufacturing processes can be identified, providing data support for the R&D of next-generation products and the improvement of existing products. Identifying "weak-point" modules: Dispersion rate analysis can quickly identify "weak-point" modules with performance far below the array average, as well as hotspots, shading or faulty branches, guiding operation and maintenance (O&M) teams to conduct precise maintenance and avoid "looking for a needle in a haystack", greatly improving O&M efficiency. This drives the O&M market to shift from "fault response" to "consistency guarantee services", eliminates service providers with backward technologies, and urges the industry to develop new technologies such as intelligent diagnostic robots and AI optimization algorithms, thereby overall improving the annual power generation efficiency of PV power stations in China. Industry value positioning: Taking data intellectual property as the core, it drives the industrial infrastructure of financial inclusion, intelligent O&M and high-end manufacturing, laying a new paradigm for the high-quality development of China's photovoltaic industry.
