Our finding that granulation tissue formation and wound closure were significantly attenuated by the reduction of CD206(Mrc1)+ macrophages. We used single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) to analyze intracellular communication of the wound site. Live cells (7AAD-negative) were sorted by Fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS) from mouse wound tissues 5 days after wounding and processed for droplet-based scRNA-seq
