CSIRO marine litter monitoring methods handbook

This collection houses the CSIRO marine litter monitoring methods handbook Part 1 and Part 2, and its associated appendices. Multiple languages are offered. Part 1 provides information about the different monitoring approaches that are taken in international marine litter monitoring programs, and provides guidance on best-practice approaches for regional-scale marine litter monitoring.Part 2 provides a comprehensive explanation of the CSIRO marine litter survey methodology. The CSIRO survey methodology uses a transect approach, and captures multiple habitats (inland, river, coast, sea surface) at each surveyed site. Part 2 of the handbook has been translated into multiple languages. Associated appendices are found in Part 2 of the handbook, but are also attached as individual files for English and Portuguese. Part 2 - old version. This is an old version of the CSIRO survey methodology Part 2 handbook. The primary difference is that it describes how to use the data sheets to record survey details.
