VPRS 14562 Miscellaneous Photographs, Negatives and Slides and Ephemera [Education History Unit]

The photographs and other images in this series were accumulated by the Publications Unit, and later the Education History Unit (EHU), of the Department of Education and Training. They depict schools, school students, teachers, politicians, maps, educational activities and other education-related subject-matter.The EHU held more than thirty thousand photographs. Most of these were stored in discernible collections. Approximately one thousand miscellaneous photographs and other items, however, were not in any obvious sequence. The labels on many of these later identified them as part of VPRS 14514 or VPRS 14515 and the photographs were returned to these series.Some items in consignment P2 are larger prints of items in VPRS 14513, VPRS 14514, VPRS 14515, VPRS 14517 and VPRS 14518, and may have been created for use in exhibitions and publications. However, the relationship between this and other series is subject to further research.
