Longitudinal study of human gut microbiota and sporobiota (ethanol resistant fraction)

Sequences were produced by amplicon sequencing of V3-V4 region of the 16S gene from stool samples of 9 healthy individuals in Maribor, Slovenia, sampled for 6 months every ~14 days. Goal of the study was to observe and describe the longitudinal persistence and stability of ethanol resistant spore-forming bacteria in the healthy human gut.
