Leverage ratio of Deutsche Bank Group 2019 to 2023

The leverage ratio of Deutsche Bank increased during the period, from around 3.9 percent in June 2019 up to 4.5 percent in December 2023. The leverage ratio refers to debt or the banks’ ability to meet financial abilities. The ratio uses Tier 1 capital in order to measure how leveraged a bank is in relation to its consolidated assets. Higher leverage ratios indicate that a bank is more capable of withstanding risks than those with low leverage ratios.
