The Digital Economy Index encompasses four dimensions: digital infrastructure, digital inputs, digital revenues, and digital environment. Comprising 20 sub-indicators, the index is calculated using the entropy-weighted Topsis method. Data sources for these 20 digital economy indicators include the World Bank, the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development Statistics Centre (UNCTADstat), Science Journal Rankings (SJR), the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the World Economic Forum (WEF), and the World Development Indicators (WDI). (WDI). The OECD-WTO Balanced Trade in Services (BaTIS) dataset provides data from 2005 to 2023, covering 202 economies and disaggregated by total services and 26 EBOPS 2010 service categories. Driver indicators are sourced from the World Bank, with data covering 153 countries from 2005 to 2022.
