The paper was in press at the time the dataset was deposited in Zenodo. The records cover three groups: Bryophytes. All the records from P.W. Richards loose-leaf folder of bryophyte records. Vascular plants. A sample of records dated between 1919 and 1952 from the Cambridge Natural History Society card index of vascular plants. Fungi. All the records from the Cambridge Natural History Society card index of fungi. Further details of the above sources, and the rationale for the sampling of the vascular plant records, are given in the above paper.
