Computed radiography and direct radiography images of chest phantom

Chest x-ray is the most common radiological examination in clinical practice. This project was conducted to investigate the optimal chest radiographic protocols with the aim of reducing radiation dose to patients without compromising diagnostic image quality. The data in this collection consists of digital radiographic images of a chest phantom that were acquired with computed radiography and direct radiography. Three datasets were collected, with each one comprising 15 sets each of 200-300 images. The original DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communication in Medicine) images are stored in the datasets.
