The aim of this study is to apply a genomic surveillance of antimicrobial resistance trends in CRKP from food of animal origin (beef, mutton, and poultry) isolated from Egypt and to elucidate potential connections with previous cases of human infection. The results from this pilot study provide valuable insights into the potential transmission dynamics and sources of resistant clones.
