Turkish Manipulative News Headline Detection Dataset

This dataset contains 2,008 Turkish news articles collected from seven major media outlets (Hürriyet, Sabah, Sözcü, Cumhuriyet, Milliyet, CNN Türk, NTV) between January and June 2024. Each article is annotated with two labels: (1) headline manipulation (binary: manipulative / non-manipulative) and (2) article-level sentiment (three-class: negative / neutral / positive). The dataset was constructed to support research on manipulative news headline detection through headline-content misalignment analysis in Turkish digital media.
