Comparative genomics of KPC producing Klebsiella pneumoniae ST307: Genomic features of Argentinian strains

KPC producing K. pneumoniae ST307 is recognized as a high risk clone, which is being increasingly documented in several countries and is considered a candidate to become the worldwide epidemic clone.Our objective was to report on the first indexed KPC-Kp ST307 isolates from Argentina, to explore its genomic features and to establish the phylogenetic relationship with other worldwide KPC-Kp ST307 strains.
