Summary:
Annual electrical energy produced since 1948 by EDF in metropolitan France and its distribution by types of energy: Nuclear, Flame Thermal and Hydro.
Detailed description:
Electrical energy: production data are net of auxiliaries, but pumping consumption is not deducted.
EDF: this is the operating scope of EDF EPIC, then EDF SA since 2004. Historically, under conventional arrangements that ended in 2001, EDF operated the CNR and SHEM hydroelectric plants.
Sectors: The ENR sector (new renewables such as wind and solar) is covered by our subsidiary EDF Renouvelables. Therefore, in this dataset specific to EDF SA, wind and solar are not accounted for. You can find recent data for the group and its subsidiaries in the EDF Group Consolidated Generation by Country dataset.
Meters : Since 2004, for Thermal and Nuclear, the data are from RTE meters. For Hydraulic, it's EDF meters.
