The price of 1 kg of cherries in Sendai City is 685 yen higher than the national average. During the period from January 2015 to July 2024 (the past 20 months), the month with the highest price for cherries at supermarkets within Sendai City was July 2024, at 4,804 yen, whereas the month with the lowest price was July 2017, at 2,168 yen. The price difference between the peak period (July 2024) and the lowest period (July 2017) for cherries in the Sendai City area is 685 yen.
