Low water content of the lower continental crust induced by decompression melting: Evidenced from the Weichang granulite xenolith in the northern North China Craton
收藏资源简介:
This dataset comprises geochemical and petrological analyses of granulite xenoliths from the Weichang area, the northern of North China Craton, providing key insights into mineral major and trace element compositions, and water content in deep crustal materials. The data include four tables generated through electron microprobe (EPMA), LA-ICP-MS, and FTIR analyses.Table S1: EPMA results (wt.%) of minerals in Weichang granulite xenoliths. It mainly includes major element compositions of clinopyroxene (Cpx), orthopyroxene (Opx), and plagioclase (Pl). Table S2: Major elements compositions of minerals (Cpx, Opx, Pl) and glass in the sieve-textured zone Table S3: Trace elements compositions of main rock-forming minerals and sieve-textured zones (Cpx, Opx, Pl)Table S4: Water content of clinopyroxene and orthopyroxene
