Taming the Tiger: Interpreting the DLI License

The administration of the DLI license has always been a bit of a challenge-but we have new tools to help us, and our users, to determine an appropriate course of action. Trust us--there won't be any nodding heads in this session! This presentation reviews the license conditions with the new license signed in 2002 and reinforces key concepts of authorized user and authorized use. It reinforces the iterative nature of the reference interview and indicates the use of case law in assisting with a determination of conditions of use.
