资源简介:
This data set contains data collected in two cropping seasons (2023/24-2024/25).
The included data were stover yield, grain yield, agronomic use efficiency, partial factor productivity, sustainability yield index, and economic profitability analysis data for two years and pooled data.
The aim of the study was to examine the optimal combination of N/P2O5, maize cob biochar, and vermicompost on grain, stover, fertilizer use efficiency indices, sustainability yield index, and economic profitability of the maize cropping system in acidic soils of Northwestern Ethiopia. Three factors with three replications were examined in two main cropping seasons. The field data were collected from 27 plots, which were replicated three times.
ANOVA, correlation analysis, and partial budget analysis were conducted. Combined use of these three nutrient sources found a maximum sustainability yield index (0.76) compared to the control.
Alternative soil fertility management was recommended to the study area and similar agroecologies, which ensures economic profitability.
