High-resolution LiDAR Digital Elevation Model (DEM) and Canopy Height Model (CHM) for the Port Alice/Jeune Landing region of Vancouver Island, BC, Canada

Dataset contains a Digital Elevation Model (DEM) and Canopy Height Model (CHM) for a 406km2 area of the Port Alice/Jeune Landing region of Vancouver Island, BC, Canada, inclusive of areas surrounding Neroutsos Inlet and the towns of Jeune Landing and Port Alice. DEM has a spatial resolution of 2m, CHM has a spatial resolution of 1m. Elevation and height values are in metres (m). Data can be opened as raster layers in GIS software. Quality assurance and projection validation performed via visual inspection in QGIS 3.44.
