Kivu Derived Lake Physics High-Frequency Data

Provides daily average estimates of a wide range of physical properties of the water column for Lake Kivu based on high-frequency lake and weather data for 2012-2013. Average daily values of lake and weather data were first calculated using the openair() package in R v3.6.0 (Carslaw and Ropkins 2012), and then those daily data were input into rLakeAnalyzer() package in R v3.6.0 (Read et al. 2011). The daily average weather data are included. Quantiles of each variable (i.e., the ranked order as a proportion) are provided to facilitate evaluation of extreme observations. The limnological data were collected during the “Biological baseline of Lake Kivu” financed by BTC (Belgian Technical Cooperation, now ENABEL, for “Agence Belge de Développement”).
