[Sequencing data] Evaluating Seqstant LiveGene Analysis in Real-Time Assessment of Metagenomic Next-Generation Sequencing (mNGS) Data from Respiratory Samples.

Sequencing data from the performance study for the manuscript "Evaluating Seqstant LiveGene Analysis in Real-Time Assessment of Metagenomic Next-Generation Sequencing (mNGS) Data from Respiratory Samples.".

The dataset contains:

FastQ files of all non-excluded samples used for the performance evaluation (performance_evaluation)

FastQ files of all samples used for comparison between different sequencing devices (device_comparison)

Data has been preprocessed with the commercial Seqstant LiveGene software, including the following preprocessing steps:

Removal of human reads (privacy protection)

Demultiplexing according to the specific LiveGene adapter design for live sequencing

Removal of low-quality reads

Removal of low-diversity reads

Trimming of low-quality and poly-G ends

Adapter Trimming

Removal of reads shorter than 50bp after trimming steps
