Global Burden of Disease Study 2010 (GBD 2010) Population Estimates 1970-2010

The GBD Study 2010 estimated the burden of diseases, injuries, and risk factors globally and for 21 regions for 1990 and 2010. The study was implemented as a collaboration of Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME) as coordinating center, University of Queensland, Harvard School of Public Health, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, University of Tokyo, Imperial College London, and WHO. This dataset provides population estimates for each of the 21 GBD regions. Estimates are given for 1970 through 2010, by age and sex.
