The invention relates to a panel (10)， comprising a carrier plate (12) which has an upper (14)， a lower (16) main surface and a front surface (18)， a support edge (24) which is attached to the front surface ( 18) of the carrier plate (12) is arranged， and a decorative layer (20)， which extends from the upper surface of the carrier plate (12) over the front surface (18) of the carrier plate (12) and the support edge (24) to the lower surface the carrier plate (12) extends， wherein the support edge (24) is framed on the front surface (18) of the carrier plate (12) between the decorative layer (20) and the carrier plate (12)， and a layer (28) between the support edge (24) and the decorative layer (20) is arranged from hot melt adhesive， which is set up to connect the decorative layer (20) to the support edge (24).
